Singapore Day 7 and 8

Posted in Memorable moments, happy or sad? on January 10, 2009 by shungz

day 7

I wanted to cramp this entry at Day 6 but I see my entry like kinda long so I seperate baa..

Day 7 was suppose to be the day where I TRULY FIND OUT THE WHOLE REASON WHY MALAYSIAN’s like to come Singapore.

I woke up 12pm I think, went out from 2pm to buy my bus ticket home.
I dress nicely, do my hair….
Wear my Orange Futsal shoe. Off I go..

[Censored]
So I ended up being alone in Singapore,
went to bought my Bus ticket at the grassland counter at Golden Mile Village. 48 SGD. Chun Bus o.o.. ohh okay.

From Lavender stop, I first head to Bugis.
Yes OF COURSE I WENT to the Bugis street, to check out what’s so cool there.
Ice Blended drinks about 1 sgd+
Walk walk walk.. OH I SEE

Bugis Street Vs Petaling Street a.k.a CHEE CHIONG KAI

Bugis Street is much narrow compare to Petaling Street.
Bugis Street got no you-know-what DVD, but Petaling Street has it.
Bugis Street you can walk until go to a small building that leads you to so to said 2nd floor, Petaling streets has shop houses along the “street”
BUGIS STREET HAS SHELTER!!??!!! Petaling Street arr, raining how ar?
Bugis Street the beggars are more or like doesn’t looks like beggars, cause they’re so well dress, and they do not beg for nothing, they’ll always have something to give you, well I believe Singapore beggars will not be as worst as Malaysian beggars. Malaysian one, you see liao.. heart pain.

Attractive prices for T-Shirt. The figure?
Perfect 10.
Of course, I have bought a Whatever-Singapore T-Shirt.
3 for 10. Nice.
I thought the Quality will be like the T-shirt you can buy in pasar malam or like those T shirts like my PE T-shirts. When I open it when I’m back in Malaysia.
SUPERB! I think no one can tell if I would have bought it at Bugis if it wasn’t written I love Singapore or something :P

Overall, what Bugis Street has, Petaling Street has it too.
Next time if those Singaporeans come here, I MUST bring them to Petaling Street and let them compare themself. =D
But there is one section where they sell all the GIRL’s stuff, seriously HEAVEN I TELL YOU. WALK WALK WALK around like never ending stalls, all CLOTHES…

So I quickly move to the place nearest to where am I that has a DAISO which is………… Dhoby Ghaut.
AKA somewhere near Orchard Road.
The Daiso is at Plaza Singapura by Capital Mall.
At first I couldn’t find it, because all I see was Park Mall and another one is Cathay, well something is blocking the word PLAZA Singapura instead what I see was Capital Mall word big big and end up when I LOOK PROPERLY, what I see was Plaza Singapura at the right hand side INSTEAD of the centre of the mall.
Well is still at the main entrance but is at the top right.
WTH!!
SO later only found out that it was UNDER Capital Mall,Trust(small word there).

HAHAHA DAISO ROX!
Everything SGD 2, how cool is that?
Is HEAVEN!!!
Do you know what DAISO sell? It doesn’t sell gift stuff you know, it sells stuff that we need to use like towels, kitchen stuff, stationaries..
THEY COULD CHARGE YOU SGD 2, is like SO HARD TO BELIEVE!!
They even sell facial wash for SGD 2?? Or maybe cosmetic stuff for SGD 2!!! HOW CAN??

I see SO MANY USEFUL TOOLS TO CREATE A COOL GIFT it all SOLD IN THERE!! WHY MALAYSIA NO DAISO??? WHY????????????????????
Ohh we have a noob gift shop,
Hinode Always Rm5, where else theirs is always SGD 2.

There is even a label on top of some section of the shop saying
“All items are priced at SGD 2″
that’s why no price tag lor LMAO.

So I spent SGD 10 there,
The Ocarina attracted me, and I even buy one BOX for some purpose.
Is a lima kaki(5 legs =p) shape, 5 sides… Heksagon, yes because it is SPECIAL, heksagon box… where I don’t find it in Malaysia that’s why I bought it.

4 Ocarina and one box, perfect to put the fragile ocarina inside xD
I really saw one was broken tho.

Next stop, TAMPINES!
Surprisingly I reach there was 7pm already, close to night liao.
Someone told me Tampines has nothing…
NAH! First thing when I came down what I saw?

Something that you don’t see it often in SG BUT in Malaysia there are TOO MANY… mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
RAMLEE BURGER, STRAIGHT AWAY I BUY because I wanna test the Singapore Ramlee burger. See whether up to standard or not.

But before that, something caught my eye.
I don’t know why, there’s this two dude they drew pictures and spray and paint, very nice. I like.. so I gave them SGD 2 where else there is this someone who LOOK more pity than them.
YET I GAVE THE YOUNGSTERS who is actually having the ability to work or something.

But what made me give them?
That is to show my support, to show that I admire your work, I don’t give whatever cash to people like this on the streets ya know. Even in Malaysia…

So let me tell you something,
I went to the abang who sell the burger, I said
“Bang, Burger Ayam Special Satu”

Then I saw how he cooked, wow he has TONS of burger to cook until he doesn’t has time as the Malaysian burger seller does, he has to cook about 15 burgers at one shot, and one shot 15 eggs throw inside.
Well in Malaysia, although the dude break the egg york, but your burger doesn’t looks like omelette, but this one DOES!
So your egg is all YELLOW. Well it does make a difference in taste.

As you fried the egg where you can see yellow, you still could taste the egg white, when the egg york is all mix and become like a omelette you’ll taste more of the egg york.
But I know he has no choice but to do so, else the whole kampung will have to wait for him.
SERIOUSLY, DAMMMM MANY MALAYS ALL LINING UP, so does others.

So since I have to wait, I told him I’ll come back,
I said “Bang nanti saya balik okay?”
Yes in MALAY I spoke..

Guess what when he replied me when I ask the price in malay?
“Bang Berapa?”
“SAN KUAI!!!” 3 dollar.

=O IN MY LIFE, I really seldom hear a Malay dude who speak chinese, and THAT could be the FIRST SINGAPOREAN MALAY who speak chinese. I mean is been a long time since I last hear a malay speaking chinese to me having the chinese slang too.

I was like “err Tiga arr?”
Hehehehehe Singaporeans, come to Malaysia your burger special won’t reach the figure THREE laa, for burger with egg, most also reach until RM2.80 xD

See as I mention, services in Singapore… untung man.

Sadly I don’t know why if Burger Ramlee so happening in there, why they can’t sell everyday like how we Malaysians do?
Can’t get permit? Or will lose to McD?

Or maybe is happening because it ONLY has it when there is a pasar malam.

AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their Pasar Malam though is like our malaysia’s Pasar Tani that small.
Tell you something very cool..
Remember Bugis Street got shelter?
GUESS WHAT?
They also got, nothing special liao…

Malaysia’s Pasar malam is on the tar road,
Singapore?
ON A OPEN FIELD, with WOODEN BOARD NAILED ON THE GROUND!!
So definitely is brighter than Malaysia man, is like a warehouse sale in Malaysia. HAHAHAHA

So as I said again, Singaporean.. the goverment really know how to take care you all.

Oh come to think of it I also later on realize that my friend’s place has a WET MARKET, I don’t know why somehow is more CLEANER than Malaysia’s one.

After that I head to Tampines Mall, waa from outside MRT rail you see like so big and happening, go in there I see many people.. walk walk walk WOOO got arcade.

I bought a Doraemon which is worth 7 SGD, initially I thought it wasn’t discounted as it cost 14 SGD for that cute furry doraemon.
I don’t feel like buying at first, cause I was thinking maybe Malaysian has it too. Then I think twice.. come to Singapore.. other than shopping, nothing else what right? Furthermore people come here is for the VARIETY of items sold in the mall. So okaylaa BUY IT ONLY laa.
Buy that time, DISCOUNT! ALRITE So I bought it for about RM15 NICE.

The Last place I go was to Pasir Ris and it was about to reach 10pm,
why did I go there?
Wanna go e hub! to get a giangantic box, well I thought to buy it when we were leaving Pasir Ris but sadly we were on the rush.

END UP FIND OUT THAT FREAKING BOX SOLD BUY FAIR PRICE, the last time was sold outisde fair price, so I thought was some other who in charge of selling it.
EARLIER KNOW GO THE NEAREST FAIR PRICE.
Almost close ler the shop, then quickly rush back to Clementi.

From 2pm-11pm..
I can shop in three places, cool ler.
Can’t do that in Malaysia ler xD.

Day 8
Alrite, woke up 8am, why?
To accompany my friend to Temasek Poly, I wanted to see his USUAL LIFESTYLE of traveling to school as well as seeing his FAMOUS POLY.

Wooooo really never regret man,
Is a total different scene as in Malaysia.

He has to take TWO BUSES to go to his Poly, not so bad.
And it cost him 3 SGD to get there, I forgot.. is through and flow or not but I think is one way. About 3 SGD but can’t reach the figure 3 la.
It took us about 30 mins or one hour, I forgot.
but I think is 30 mins ba..
Waa imagine everyday like that..
Just to travel from west to east.
Unlike here, most of us Malaysian have car, no need mat7 bus interchange.

As I reach his poly I came down too, look around…
WHAT A PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE. What time is it? About 9am+
9am at SS15 not as peaceful as this already ler, got cars around liao..
and his poly, is like.. some deserted instituted IN MALAYSIA.
Around his poly all HOUSING AREA.

What we have in SS15?
ASIA CAFE! A FEW CYBER CAFES! WOOHOO!

What we have in Sunway? Sunway Pryamid.

Where can as peaceful as there?

So I went to the nearest food court near his place.
Nice porrdige. I like =D
Come to think of it, I ate something that I never eat in Malaysia before, on the time when the Malaysians are leaving.
Satay BEE HON, is there any in Malaysia? Well Satay bee hon has CUTTLE FISH MMMM, kangkong.. okay.. and SIHAM aka cockles.

After that I took the bus to the nearest MRT which is Tampines station, waa there got bus interchange, on that day only find out.
So since is my last day in Singapore, lets sit the MRT from East all the way to west! but before that.. I took the interchange at Outram Park North East Line(the purple colour one)
All the way to Punggol, and then all the way back to Outram and to Boon Lay.

When I’m in the North East Line, all the way to Punggol…
ALL UNDERGROUND SEE WHAT??!?!?!?
But then I find out one thing, FREAKING FAST stations after stations.

So as I’m heading to the west, WOOOOO CHINESE GARDEN..
AWESOME, is like our Lakeview near holiday villa BUT they have NICE BIG OPEN FIELD PARK and willow trees? Or whatever trees that makes it look like CHINESE GARDEN.
Singapore really don’t sin ka people wan.. cool.
Can jogging there ler, I want to.

Then at Boon Lay..
I thought it was some Ulu area, where there will be army camp, cause Sab told me his bf camp is there.
Yes indeed I saw some army vehicle, but what I saw is was all the containers! Where the export and the import are there.. Ohh on the way I think at Jurong East, there is a mall..
But is not as cool as the East side.

So In conclusion, seems like the east has more cool and happening things compare to the west.
It really looks like it along the MRT trail.. even the airport is at the east. Everything at the east.

So from 10am+ on the train, about 1pm down the train at Clementi.
OVERSTAYED!

Wth, can’t get pass.
So I ask the counter for help..
I don’t know did it charge extra or not, but I remembered I pay 2 SGD. Maybe that as fine I don’t know, must find out
As far as I can find out is this

The time penalty is $2.00.

Time limit are as follows:

Enter and exit from the same station: 20 mins
Exit 1 to 4 stations away: 40 mins
Exit 5 to 9 Stations away: 60 mins
Exit 10 to 15 stations away: 75 mins
Exit 16 to 24 stations away: 100 mins
Exit over 24 stations away: 120 mins

Does LRT or KTM in Malaysia GOT SUCH THING ARR? :P

Why they don’t let us stay in MRT for so long??
Scared we terrorist ar? LOL can’t stop laughing at the Advertisement about TERRORISM BOMBING THE TRAIN.

Yup, Terrorist Attack ARE REAL. Singaporeans see the ad until sien liao. We noob hai Malaysian find it AMUSING xD

After that, go back.. lepak at his house, pack my bag.
ATE KFC FOR MY FIRST TIME IN SG.

Interesting…
Khamsi aka Gun told me..
KFC in Singapore, NOT SPICY one, somore the chilli sauce SWEET SWEET one.
AHAHAHAHAHA I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING when I ate the Spicy & Crispy Chicken.
LAUGH LIKE SHIT I TELL YOU,
Malaysia’s one, when you eat you still can see RED RED COLOUR inside can see some chili powder.
Over there? NOT SPICY AT ALL LAA!!

Soon, we head to Big O, the LANSHOP aka Cyber Cafe they use to go for WOE.
As usual, LAN SHOPS are in Singapore always dark dark one.
There many people play Live 4 Dead, scary game xD, but chi kek also.

After Lan Shop, I was force to take cab again to the Golden Mile Village near Lavender. Sad.
Because Ecou didn’t guide me how to get there using Bus.

It was about 10SGD.
Rm24 GONE LER. SOB SOB

So I bid some SG-ians through SMS with my SG number, and sobsob..
Off I go in the bus.

Funny thing is when I was in the custom,
The SCAN LUGGAGE dude is not there, so I went pass without scanning my luggage. O_o
Hehe.. and going back Malaysia showing my Malaysian passport, no need fill in the form. Slumber~~~

Is like, just walk pass only.

That’s the end of my Singapore trip.
I did have fun, did learn a lot about Singapore…
but just disappointed because… my FIRST purpose to go there couldn’t be fulfilled.

Singapore Trip Day 6

Posted in Uncategorized on January 10, 2009 by shungz

Day 6

It was the day where ALL the Malaysians went back to Malaysia except for me.
Why did I STAY?

I have some unfinished stuff to do here xP.
I haven’t finish walking Singapore YET,
and…….. censored.

After sending them off at the Changi airport, Ecou and Khamsi two indon chinese went back to their place or they went to Kallang for dinner I don’t know. As for me, I went to meet two ferlers whom I know in eRO. Not the RO that I’m currently playing, is the Malaysia-Singapore Official Server eRO that you need to pay to play =D.

From Changi MRT, I head towards Bedok.
When I meet them, I ask them where to eat since Sab said make it budget. Okay, so I thought since they are Singaporeans they should know, so I shall let them decided. But Justin said “I only home cook food and only fast food.” I was like O.O ain’t there any cheap place to suggest? So I was like okay… then I’m not too sure if FAST FOOD is counted budget or not. But since he said so, then most likely our destination will be fast food.

Well Well Well… Singaporeans… I guess FAST FOOD ARE TOO CHEAP FOR YOU GUYS! So does Starbucks Coffee bean etc.
That even a MOVIE TICKET COST MORE THAN UR MEAL HAHA!
So we ended up in Long John Silvers because I said, I NEVER tried this fast food yet. I thought of eating MOS Burger since I’m sure that this fast food Malaysia don’t have.

According to THIS BLOGGER
He said that only MID VALLEY HAS IT NOW, where else the Pryamid one close down.
Eeee no wonder I feel like I see before but yet never see before.
Well should have go to KFC, got one cheap meal for 2 people one.
But I don’t know KFC yet, and I haven’t go to KFC yet, furthermore I don’t miss and feel like TRYING Singapore’s KFC because KFC IS JUST CHICKEN. As for McD, at least you have A-Z Burgers lolx.

So that is why I also tell Justin, NO MaCD!!!
Oh and I think it was him who was like we don’t call it MacD we call it Big M. Big M and MacD still same thing. =.=
So whatever I said, I wanna try LONG JOHN SILVERS!

Long John Silvers are BIG SCAMMERS!
The picture show very colourful, VERY BIG.
FAKE ONE, come that time, was all GOLDEN YELLOW.
Like WTH!! I ordered SALMON, and it was my 2nd Salmon Meal in Singapore. So at least got so orange and is FREAKING SMALL.

As for the two couples, they ordered whatever Fish and Chips.
Diao I think Sab ordered Chicken that fried like a Fish and Chips.
GUESS WHAT??? IS AS YELLOW AND GOLD LIKE MALAYSIA’s GORENG PISANG and the salad and all like don’t have one.

In My life I eat fish and chips horr, I never see SUCH MONO COLOUR ONE. No wonder they not doing well in Malaysia..
IS NOT FREAKING ATTRACTIVE LERR!! The way they present their meal, how to fight Manhattan Fish Market?
that one EXPENSIVE and NICE. This one like… eat Fried banana also better la.

So we chatted until 8pm+
Then off we go, Sab and I took MRT towards the west and Justin went home from Bedok, yes he stays there.
In the train, Sab show me something amazing…
In my whole life, I never see a girl can stand on the train withow grabbing any pole or something to support her body from falling.
Sab can do it,and play PSP somore.

Hypothesis: Taking MRT to travel is something too normal, and is in their EVERYDAY life until they get used to the speed and where the train will started shaking, and they are very dependable on it.

Yes Sab told me this: “The train is not shaky now”, when she played the PSP in my face.

Then I started looking around, indeed many of them is with their whatever mini gadgets with them. =D
Who takes KTM in Malaysia?
I think I can see most of them are working people,
some are students, and MAINLY people who wants to go to KL. Other than that, they do not need the train.

Sab live at Bukit Batok, my friends house is Bkt Timah, somore near Clementi.(That’s why I see a lot of Clementi sign board).

So she needs to take the interchange at Jurong east.
Waliao from Clementi to Jurong East the station takes very long compare to the stations before it.
She told me that from Bukit Batok travels to Bedok it takes about half and hour from Clementi. So she said to meet her Justin, it takes such a long time Travel from West to East or East to West.

I decided to walk her home instead of going “home”.
So off I go to Bukit Batok, so then I ask how far is your house from the station?
“10 mins walk is that far?”

I told her as long as is not 30 mins WALK, is a walking distance.
As I walk along the HDB’s I saw many facilities again…
Well taken care of, waaaaaaaaaa.. then she said, ohh in the middle of her house there is 7-11. Nice. =D

It was surprising she then suddenly gave me present before I go off.
I was like “WHAT??????????!?!?!?” Okay she has gift for me, Zach and one more dude that we know in eRo days too.
I was surprise cause she ACTUALLY does prepare gift for us while we errrmmm… didn’t even plan the gift in return, is kinda paiseh.
She told me to took bus no.66 etc etc cause there are other 2 which I forget the number.

I sat no.66, and I didn’t know his place in Bkt Timah is also near Jurong Kerchil, yes what the heck they call it Kerchil instead of Kecil.
So the pass did stop by there, and I was trying to look where is NGEE AN POLY at my left, but I guess it was on my right, couldn’t see cause it was AT NIGHT.

As I sat the bus, I was like wondering, WHY SO LONG HAVEN’T REACH??? Then after I stop at one place, saw the MRT station, GET DOWN. The Road was name…. Jln Bukit Timah.
Guess where am I? LITTLE INDIA!!!!!!

You see sometimes, the name of the place may not mean as it says.
BUT LITTLE INDIA REALLY HAS TONS OF INDIANS AS I LOOK AROUND!!
See what type of name, it can be true and can be fake…
BUT one thing you SURELY CAN CONFIRM is China Town.
When you hear the word China Town, impossible they Sin Ka you.

I can’t stop laughing at the Chinese name for Little India,
Imagine the auto train operator says “Next Station, Little India… after that. Xiao Yin Du.
Little India the name, was kinda like a small place where you find a bunch of indians, BUT THE WORD XIAO YIN DU MAKING ME FEELS LIKE… WHAT?? SMALL INDIANS??? But yet Xiao is also means small and little. The name is indeed creative, instead of naming it India Town, which is much more typical.

So I thought I’m quite close to HIS PLACE, which is Upp Bukit Timah road actually, so I went and walk Jln Bukit Timah>>
Until I told myself, okayla don’t siao..
Afterall I don’t know the road, is okay to go back to Clementi and from there you take a bus back, 173 if not mistaken
I found out that Jln Bukit Timah wasn’t his area, and is near Upp Bukit Timah when I reach his place and after he told me.

You could actually find this road in Wiki

I really thought I was a FEW BUS STOP AWAY Maybe can walk :P

So whatever it is I got lost :P and also…
I somehow get one of the LAST BUS from Clementi station.
It was about 11pm at that time else I would have to take a cab “home”.

Singapore Trip Day 4 and 5

Posted in Memorable moments, Thought of my own on January 6, 2009 by shungz

Day 4 and 5 was the day we start touring A FEW PLACE in Singapore
Friday Morning we pergi ViVo City,
I went to the Toys R Us in Singapore, guess what?
I somehow feel that Toys in there are slightly cheaper than in Malaysia, after converting I mean.
It FEELS like it, cause I bought a COOKIE MONSTER and the brand is FISHER PRICE size about from my elbow to my tip of my finger, it should cost about 30++ close to 40 in Malaysia but I bought it about SGD15. I bought it for my sis, cause it looks really retard looking, then I think of my sis, so I buy it =D
There is even one FREAKING BIG PANDA which cost less than 100 sgd I forgot the price but I remember my friend talk until like the price was damn worth it. I would have bought it if I’m working in Singapore =D

Mao did his shopping in EDC, Jia Jia bought something which Malaysia do no have I THINK, cause I never hear a shop called Build-a-Bear in Malaysia. Wear you take a plush, take the costume and fit it in your plush, pay money. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

As I look around the malls, THE CLOTHES, then I could finally conclude WHY MALAYSIANS WANNA COME SINGAPORE SHOPPING.
THE VARIETIES ARE FREAKING MANY SIAL, is like all like never see before in Malaysia..
and then I began to REALIZE OIC…
Singapore.. you wanna go 3 malls 4 malls 5 malls in a day, NO PROBLEM. Take MRT, stations after stations got one mall each station.
Most of the MRT station you get down, already got mall already. xD
Compare to Malaysia, how to go so many malls per day?
From Pryamid to One U it take about 15 mins-20mins,
NO TRAIN SERVICE TQ. Then From One U around there got The Curve and Ikano and Cineleisure? LMAO, then what is next??
Oh Shit I don’t know what other malls liao, go KL arrr?

KL only Suria KLCC I know which is like the you know, GRAND MALL, another one which many people say, RICH MAN MALL Pavillion.
To travel to all these malls, in one day is quite impossible,
but as for Singapore, like I say, the Goverment already take care you all very well that with MRT can take you all the whole Singapore. So IS possible to go 5 malls in a day.

After Vivo City, we go sit MRT I think or cab I also forget but most likely MRT, we went to Park Lane, for our LAST CELESTICA WOE.
The cafe was outiside the mall, we’re suppose to go to Big O which is IN PARKLANE, the cyber cafe they use to go, but we ended up in some shit cafe called I-forgot-the-name-liao, walked in and end up I only realized Singapores CYBER CAFE, ALL DARK DARK ONE.
Compare to Malayisa?? You come FTZ Asia cafe there, you see the comp and the atmosphere you wanna CRY ALREADY ARR…
Cannot fight I tell you.

So this was our last screenshot in game

Later on I freaking forget which mall cinema we went too,
and we watch BEDTIME STORIES..
So magical.. as if everything will happen LIKE THAT..
Guess what? Hehehe okay the movie ticket price was expected 10 SGD, well same goes for the LanSHOP/Cyber cafes price which is 2SGD per hour, somore lame one have to give IC just in case you ESCAPEEEEE… in Malaysia got such thing wan arr?

I found out that POPCORN SET IS 7SGD per set, with drinks and popcorn. I don’t remember in Malaysia when I buy popcorn can reach RM7 lor if is POPCORN and DRINKS plus together.
Or maybe it is because is a large popcorn but small drink? Because I remember the set can reach about RM5-6 but never reach RM7.
Yes see even before converting also can beat malaysia the pricing.

Oh before that we went to McD and eat our LATE dinner before movies, and GUESS WHAT?
They even have a thing call STUDENT MEAL, FUCKING CHEAP I TELL YOU, SGD5 you can have a BURGER(Mchicken, Big Mac, Fillet O fish your choice and I dunno still got what else la) Medium Fries, and a Large Drink. Sigh Sigh Sigh Singapore singapore, why fast food for you all so cheap one?????
It Malaysia RM5 can buy one burger and a SMALL fries ler that’s the best you can get.

BUT WAIT, I tell you one secret…
WHICH IS MALAYSIA’s McD & KFC & BURGER KING CAN REFILL!!
WAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!
But who cares, you want to eat or you want to drink?
RM5 can eat McD set now, syok loerr..

Some of them went to Ecou’s house after the movie,
as usual.. Computer again, I sleep like a pig, cause I no strength laa, tummy not feeling good, don’t eat good where got strength? LOL.
Somore the next day we are going to play SPORTS IN THE MORNING!
AT LAST!! SPORTS IN SINGAPORE, I’m GONNA USE YOUR NICE CONDITION WHATEVER COURT WOHOOO!

DAY 5

We reached there about 8.30am plus somewhere in ANG MO KIO HUB to wait for Bao aka Hubert and Faya aka Demi,
Wait until so long until I……….. go lalalalaallaa..
Oh guess what? Bread story horr also cost around the same FIGURE in Singapore, about 1sgd++ you get a bread, same like here RM1++
So this is a bit the weird lo, why bread story like same figure price but not same price.

We took bus to somewhere in SERANGOON.

So I being able to play two sports, I played both.
They have this street soccer, and some went to play basketball.
I played two games until our team was knocked out then I go join them in basketball.
Kenot laa my tummy so empty, no strength, wanna makan also kenot makan aih.

What is street soccer? Is not like futsal, can play cheating, can hit the side fence and continue playing. and is 4 on 4 instead of 5 on 5.
They commented I run a lot, cause they were moving slowly…

Next is Basketball, after a game those who played street soccer came and join us.

I didn’t know I look so cool in back view with my orange Futsal shoe xD

Skip the part where we ate our branch and waited for a guy to give him his present in the gift exchange during christmas.

We are at SunTec, Marina Bay, Esplanade… somewhere around there la about what time?
We went and eat expensive food again, 15 sgd gone.
Mine was SALMON PASTA, MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM I like.
Salmon fish slice AND EGGS TOO… What an orange combo!
The store name was WARUKA pasta, outside the shop they show like WAAA DAMN BIG PORTION.

Tipu my $, actually serve so little, ta ma de.
But well, I payed for what I eat, RM10 for the skills of the pasta(well expensive restaurant standard maa), RM10 for the Salmon RM5 for the eggs, the rest for the SERVICE charge.

OHH in Singapore service chage hor is 10% I think, and Gov tax is 7%
WADAFUKKKKKKKKKKKKK, in Malaysia is 5% okay.

But like I said, Singapore..
the Goverment tax you like shit, but the goverment does know how to take care of you all.
I admit, Singaporeans has a more pampered life than Malaysian.
This line may sound offensive, but my meaning behind it is..
The goverment knows how to take care you all so that you all no need to suffer like shit, most you all I mean.

Well compare to here, sometimes you pay like shit, and yet you can’t guarantee you get a good and efficient service.
Although they are STILL IMPROVING on that.

During the evening, the sarawaki-ian Mao went back, Ecou and his JiaJia went to send them off, the rest of us we head on to marina square

They has this decoration, thingy outside Marina Square near the stage. LOL what a bad way to explain and describe location.
I’ll show you the picture of the decoration

Then we head to the Merlion Park,
yes I’ve heard of this LION HEAD THINGY since I was a kid but I never seen it in my life before.
I always thought this MERLION SCULPTURE was FREAKING HUGE, and the park should have a big place for you to walk.
Okay, I found out why they call it MERLION, is not because just to name it MER, and it is a lion.
When I see the chinese word there Yu Wei Shi 鱼尾狮, and they draw the sign board a lion that has fish tail like a mermaid I was like OHHHHHHH I SEE…
MERLION= Mermaid+Lion Then I truely see the SCALEs on the MERLION.
So MERLION SCULPTURE was actually small compare with the one they ALWAYS PUT IN THE FLYERS/ADVERTISEMENT, WHAT THE HECK!
and that so called park is so small, I thought you can actually walk AROUND the Merlion sculpture which is situated in the middle, but Nah.
Just spots for you enough to take picture. Nearby there is a GRAND HOTEL, guess what? The lights and everything, reminds me of DATARAN MERDEKA MAN. Okay look towards the Merlion sculpture back, LOOK at the back you, THAT GRAND BUILDING. Go back to KL, go dataran merdeka see for youself

Fullrethon Hotel

Dataran Merdeka

This two picture may not look a like but well, the real thing it does look similar tho.

Took Pic with Merlion, well.. no big deal pic, lazy to post..
I shall post this, it was someone’s idea.

Fast Forward, go back SLEEP.
Nothing Special.

Singapore Trip day 2 & 3

Posted in Memorable moments, Thought of my own on January 6, 2009 by shungz

Day 1 I slept syok syok and damn kao early, so that day 2 I can stay awake until we check out which is day 3.

Oh man, I’m so excited for day 2 because I can’t wait to see…
after one year from our first time meeting each other.
I went to the nearest mall which is E hub!, to get a Prepaid Sim card because ROAMING IS FREAKING EXPENSIVE.

I bought Singtel, and passport is required as HanSen(Ecou) told me last night, and on that day itself I even found out that in order to get free incoming call, you have to activate some shits and pay them 60 sen per day to have it.

Yup, items in SG are more or like same price as in Malaysia AFTER converting, BUT the killer are services in SG…
Transportation to Telecommunication..
Malaysia taxi if the taxi man don’t con you, you sit on it already RM2, other there is 2.80 SGD which I don’t know why got the extra 80 sen,
somore there suddenly you’ll never know all the extra charges like really WTH. As for Malaysia one, they just simply give you a cut throat price. If really follow meter it’ll be fine.

BUT in SG, what you pay for is what you get,
Everyone there is well taken care of, with many houses under Housing and Development Board which means less squatter areas, to travel around Singapore you could actually switch buses after buses, compare to Malaysia what is bus arrr??? If can we would like to take train>Bus and then own car =D
Their MRT should have cover the who SG I guess, but even it doesn’t covers that area I’m 100% sure every where has buses.

Well they do not have KTM so they trains are cool,
try using KTM about 5-6pm, can even miss one train because u can get urself in the train. Seriously I just which LRT replace this noob KTM. So damn CB slow man..

So when I was in SG, I was like damn kao syok man..
Did a lot of healthy walking which is NOT short to me cause the roads their are all for people to walk instead in Malaysia we have many tar roads here and there =D Roads are maintain, trees everywhere even though is like buildings everywhere =D

Okay, so basically in chalet was just stoning, laptop, and chatting.
WTH man the chalet, so ciput small…
Well as I said, SERVICES IN singapore is FREAKING EXPENSIVE, I think Sex service there sure more expensive than Malaysia lor, without converting already ex liao, aiseh.
That FREAKING CHALET, according to my Sg frens they said is consider quite big.
What is Chalet in Malaysia? Is like at least a big house okay.
This is so small that has one room upstairs and one toilet downstairs.
Room also as big as my room in my house nia,
wait why I say ex?
Cause is 360SGD I think for 2 nights, and that building is smaller than a low cost flat in Malaysia, with RM360 I’m very sure you can rent some bigger and wider place.

Hence some of them did not sleep the first night, end up staying up in front of the comp DOTA, sad right?
Well is SOOO EX that we have to rent ONE chalet.
But I would say, is an experience… =D
Experience to feel what SG-ians do to spend their holiday.

Oh that chalet is near a beach, and I didn’t even went there, only a few went there.. lolx.
There is swimming pool, you can rent bicycle there, BUT no football basketball court, dunno got volleyball badminton court or not, never see so I shall say don’t have also.

So about 16+ people staying in a place SMALLER than a low cost flat in Malaysia, with only ONE ROOM, imagine that?!?
O guess what? good thing those who slept are like couples, so they guy and girl can squeeze in, have their romantic bedtime moment.

I woke up 7am in the morning because I wanted to give those who didn’t sleep go and sleep.
ORDERED my FIRST McD in Singapore..

Jakun Moments no.2:
I thought everything in SG is the same pricing in Malaysia as in FIGURES like lets say you need RM3 you can get a lunch in Malaysia as for in SG you need about SGD3.
So means MacD is about SGD10 per set then, I was shocked to find out that it is about SGD5 you can get it. LOL!

So from then only I find out why fast food in Singapore is NO BIG DEAL compare to Malaysia, BECAUSE with SGD 5 you can have a McD SET! I REPEAT SET OKAY!!!
RM5 can get set arrr? RM5 can get the BURGER laaa now, eat happy meal laaa~
Food court food is also about SGD5, Fast Food also SGD 5, somore from north south east west EVERYWHERE, where you cannot find MCD is hard for me to believe man.

ALMOST THE SAME PRICE, you don’t eat fast food?

Waliao seriously I think I ate lots of fast food in SG lorr since day one till the last day I was in SG.

So okay, I even ordered the Pancake and Mcsausage with Egg set.
About SGD10 and somore my friend said is LESS than that. WTH..

So less jump to the BBQ part,
it started about 7pm+ kua…
Some who didn’t stay in the chalet start to come,
yea people after people came.. but the one I want to meet is not here yet. =/

I chatted with this guy, his name is Jian Wei, he was a one of the guild in ERO leader, his guild was our guild’s alliance.
So we chat laaa about the past in RO, his experience and all.
Trust me, he’s really good in talking…
No joke, guys like him no doubt when he talk everyone will listen to him.

So Blablabala here’s the group pic

Pic of the day:
We have this so called game thingy to get along with each other,
is like poison bomb, but is poison box, pass around the box till the music stops, the one who is holding the box when the music has stop have the take a paper in the box, the paper is written with task that you need to do.
So Jason whose fate was to let US bully throughout the whole 3 days has been “chosen” to pose as weird posing and posted in the forum

and as the clock strikes about 10++ which is close to 11pm,
where the BBQ fire also off liao.
The person whom I can’t wait to see arrived,

I don’t know what magic happen, when SHE wanted to leave SG EXPO to come here, I went to buy a Ice Blended MOCHA..
Some weird magic happen to me, I don’t feel good I vomited the BBQ food.
Whatever reasons I don’t know, I seriously do not know whether you can drink milk after you eat spicy stuff or not, but I think somehow you can’t. So kebaboom, hailat…

If the reason ain’t because I drank that Mocha, that it’ll be otherwise =) because I just censored one part of the story =D

So for the whole night,
instead of wanting to do what I intended to do, I sleep on the floor.
and wake up a bit to watch them play games and talk rubbish and sleep.
Guess what? I censored another part of my story again. =D

Opss I miss out, I felt that my stomach is full of wind, and from there I found out that they even have OTHER 24-7 shop other than 7-11.
In Malaysia we have KK, in there they have Cheers.
Wanted to buy eno ginger but there finish eno, so buy FENG YOU, Axe brand. Felt so weak somore, how to do what I wanna do?
Aihh somore at this moment somore, damn sui.

Even ate cup noodle and drank milo, cant eat the leftover BBQ food cause my tummy is RAORING!!!!!!!!!!!
Next morning… say goodbye to…….. those who went back.
Okay I just censored a small part again,
then we go and makan in some mall near Pasir Ris, went and buy their Charcoal pills at the pharmacy.
it was 3.60 or 4.60SGD.. just like that fly.
GUESS WHAT? They have this BREAKFAST SET DAMN WORTH IT FOR SINGAPOREANS.
2 SGD, got tea, and egg and TOAST BREAD.
In Malaysia RM2 where can buy like that? Ma de Half boil egg already RM1, tea another RM1+++ then bread ler?

So after that those Malaysian including me we took cab back to Ecou’s house and sleep.

Night time, we go Orchard Road, walk around see see…
and then go home. Very nice.

First thing that came in my mind when I go orchard road was.
What the heck?? Damansara Copy them arr?
It really does looks like the walk path around the curve and Cineleisure you know.
Got trees hanging with lights..
I wasn’t that amaze because it does reminds me of Damansara, just a lil more crowded.
It would amaze me if it was many years ago where Malaysia still not as yeng as SG.

So already this thought came into my mind,
Whoever can copy SG first could succeed in Malaysia.

You heard the advertisement Uniquely Singapore?
Yea what so unique about their country?
Buildings Buildings… Treees.. Facilities…. POP! A MALL and it repeats.
Still I can’t find any conclusion why Malaysians wanna come to Singapore to holiday and how the advertisement say UNIQUELY SINGAPORE.

3rd day was nothing much, I shall go to 4th and 5th day the next entry

Singapore Trip day 1

Posted in Memorable moments on January 1, 2009 by shungz

Excited!

Why?
First time stepping out of Malaysia =D
After many years of hearing conversation of my friends on how Singapore looks like, finally I’m getting a chance to see it myself.

This time is my first time going holiday with my GAMING FRIEND.
Malaysian’s Guildmate meet up Singaporeans Guildmate.

Well, it is consider a miracle that I could go there,
initially I couldn’t because of $.
Somehow my father could find a solution to it, so yea I should be thankful to God for it.
Since I prayed, and it is answered.

The first reason why I’m excited to go to singapore, I’ll cancel that out and blog it in another entry ba.
SO I shall only talk about the happy moments, censored the emo ones.

I took a Rm40 bus from Puduraya to Beach Road.
from 7.30am-2pm+

Jakun moments 1:
When I was in the custom there, only found out that I need to fill in some lame forms,
no pen ler…
So paiseh have to ask someone to lend it to me.

The immigration ask me, where are you staying, cause HOW THE HECK AM I GOING TO KNOW THE EXACT ADDRESS OF MY FRIEND HOUSE?

and another thing, I thougt my stop was at Bristol road which is near Serangoon, so everything I just write Serangoon.
The dude told me next time should write the address =.=

I thought the bus going to stop at Bristol Road, end up when it stop at Beach Road, I ask the driver where is the nearest MRT, so the nearest MRT was Lavender Station.
Ecoutez aka Hansen who was the host who let a group of us Malaysian to stay for 20 SGD per night sms-ed me before I reached tere, and end up we decide to meet at Lavender station.

NICE. Imagine he really go Bristol Road for me?
Anyway, initially I was suppose to go from Bristol Road to Ferrar Park.
I was like.. =O so fast have to spend 10 SGD?

and sit cab somore ler, I do not like the word Taxi because MALAYSIAN taxi drivers…
Tipu people money one, and is MOST OF THEM.

Reached his house @ Bkt Timah, so fast have to transfer my clothes from the big bag to the small bag, and off we go to Pasir Ris.
Well the first events for us is Chalet for 3 days n 2 nights.
The Chalet is @ Costa White Sands(I think that is the spelling).

From Pasir Ris MRT, we sit a bus to Downtown east.
The MRT route around the east was not underground, so we can look around.
I was like WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA like kampung ferler because the infrastructure in SG is sure different from Malaysia.

Is like Housing blocks, Sports Facilities, Trees, then suddenly each Mall at every area.
Every MRT stop you’ll see the same thing.

We even pass by 2 storey houses and bungalows.
I really go WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA because houses like that I see it often in Subang Jaya, but THINK AGAIN.
Singapore lands…. to own it… in SGD. WALIAOWEI.
Most Singaporeans live in block buildings but you got a bungalow there, imagine how rich can you be.

Chalet first day was nothing much, other than playing Dai Dee and Bluff wit Royston, Xun and Jia En.
and expensive dinner at New York New York.

I slept early on that night, to prepare for the next night.
We were suppose to watch movie, ended up all damn lazy, and we leave Ecoutez and JiaJia pak tor in the cinema.
Well yea.. I don’t mind going to watch with them since nothing to do other than LAPTOPS AROUND, and nothing else, but you know the word lamp post?

Picture of the day.
http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y297/silent_jian/DSCN1315.jpg

Tis burger cost about 30 SGD and is FREAKING HUGE.
(Tipu people money one, no special sauce in the burger but rather the meat and bread is freaking big)
Jason manage to eat 3 quarter, the last quarter he jelak d, I only help him finish half quarter OF THE MEAT.
One quarter is like half one a normal chicken chop size, so imagine eating about 3-4 chicken chop?
PLUS THE HUGE BREAD wth.

Well I’ll update day 2 some other day, and re-edit my introduction.
I didn’t introduce who and who is in the story eh? LOL

EDIT:
Alrite, so who are the Malaysians who went this SG trip?
Silent(Zhi Jian), Gravija(Xiong), Mao(Dex) he brought his gf along, Jia Jia. All of them sit plane except for me sit bus, sad right?
What to do, wanna save cash is like that sad one.
