Singapore Day 7 and 8

day 7

I wanted to cramp this entry at Day 6 but I see my entry like kinda long so I seperate baa..

Day 7 was suppose to be the day where I TRULY FIND OUT THE WHOLE REASON WHY MALAYSIAN’s like to come Singapore.

I woke up 12pm I think, went out from 2pm to buy my bus ticket home.
I dress nicely, do my hair….
Wear my Orange Futsal shoe. Off I go..

[Censored]
So I ended up being alone in Singapore,
went to bought my Bus ticket at the grassland counter at Golden Mile Village. 48 SGD. Chun Bus o.o.. ohh okay.

From Lavender stop, I first head to Bugis.
Yes OF COURSE I WENT to the Bugis street, to check out what’s so cool there.
Ice Blended drinks about 1 sgd+
Walk walk walk.. OH I SEE

Bugis Street Vs Petaling Street a.k.a CHEE CHIONG KAI

Bugis Street is much narrow compare to Petaling Street.
Bugis Street got no you-know-what DVD, but Petaling Street has it.
Bugis Street you can walk until go to a small building that leads you to so to said 2nd floor, Petaling streets has shop houses along the “street”
BUGIS STREET HAS SHELTER!!??!!! Petaling Street arr, raining how ar?
Bugis Street the beggars are more or like doesn’t looks like beggars, cause they’re so well dress, and they do not beg for nothing, they’ll always have something to give you, well I believe Singapore beggars will not be as worst as Malaysian beggars. Malaysian one, you see liao.. heart pain.

Attractive prices for T-Shirt. The figure?
Perfect 10.
Of course, I have bought a Whatever-Singapore T-Shirt.
3 for 10. Nice.
I thought the Quality will be like the T-shirt you can buy in pasar malam or like those T shirts like my PE T-shirts. When I open it when I’m back in Malaysia.
SUPERB! I think no one can tell if I would have bought it at Bugis if it wasn’t written I love Singapore or something :P

Overall, what Bugis Street has, Petaling Street has it too.
Next time if those Singaporeans come here, I MUST bring them to Petaling Street and let them compare themself. =D
But there is one section where they sell all the GIRL’s stuff, seriously HEAVEN I TELL YOU. WALK WALK WALK around like never ending stalls, all CLOTHES…

So I quickly move to the place nearest to where am I that has a DAISO which is………… Dhoby Ghaut.
AKA somewhere near Orchard Road.
The Daiso is at Plaza Singapura by Capital Mall.
At first I couldn’t find it, because all I see was Park Mall and another one is Cathay, well something is blocking the word PLAZA Singapura instead what I see was Capital Mall word big big and end up when I LOOK PROPERLY, what I see was Plaza Singapura at the right hand side INSTEAD of the centre of the mall.
Well is still at the main entrance but is at the top right.
WTH!!
SO later only found out that it was UNDER Capital Mall,Trust(small word there).

HAHAHA DAISO ROX!
Everything SGD 2, how cool is that?
Is HEAVEN!!!
Do you know what DAISO sell? It doesn’t sell gift stuff you know, it sells stuff that we need to use like towels, kitchen stuff, stationaries..
THEY COULD CHARGE YOU SGD 2, is like SO HARD TO BELIEVE!!
They even sell facial wash for SGD 2?? Or maybe cosmetic stuff for SGD 2!!! HOW CAN??

I see SO MANY USEFUL TOOLS TO CREATE A COOL GIFT it all SOLD IN THERE!! WHY MALAYSIA NO DAISO??? WHY????????????????????
Ohh we have a noob gift shop,
Hinode Always Rm5, where else theirs is always SGD 2.

There is even a label on top of some section of the shop saying
“All items are priced at SGD 2″
that’s why no price tag lor LMAO.

So I spent SGD 10 there,
The Ocarina attracted me, and I even buy one BOX for some purpose.
Is a lima kaki(5 legs =p) shape, 5 sides… Heksagon, yes because it is SPECIAL, heksagon box… where I don’t find it in Malaysia that’s why I bought it.

4 Ocarina and one box, perfect to put the fragile ocarina inside xD
I really saw one was broken tho.

Next stop, TAMPINES!
Surprisingly I reach there was 7pm already, close to night liao.
Someone told me Tampines has nothing…
NAH! First thing when I came down what I saw?

Something that you don’t see it often in SG BUT in Malaysia there are TOO MANY… mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmm
RAMLEE BURGER, STRAIGHT AWAY I BUY because I wanna test the Singapore Ramlee burger. See whether up to standard or not.

But before that, something caught my eye.
I don’t know why, there’s this two dude they drew pictures and spray and paint, very nice. I like.. so I gave them SGD 2 where else there is this someone who LOOK more pity than them.
YET I GAVE THE YOUNGSTERS who is actually having the ability to work or something.

But what made me give them?
That is to show my support, to show that I admire your work, I don’t give whatever cash to people like this on the streets ya know. Even in Malaysia…

So let me tell you something,
I went to the abang who sell the burger, I said
“Bang, Burger Ayam Special Satu”

Then I saw how he cooked, wow he has TONS of burger to cook until he doesn’t has time as the Malaysian burger seller does, he has to cook about 15 burgers at one shot, and one shot 15 eggs throw inside.
Well in Malaysia, although the dude break the egg york, but your burger doesn’t looks like omelette, but this one DOES!
So your egg is all YELLOW. Well it does make a difference in taste.

As you fried the egg where you can see yellow, you still could taste the egg white, when the egg york is all mix and become like a omelette you’ll taste more of the egg york.
But I know he has no choice but to do so, else the whole kampung will have to wait for him.
SERIOUSLY, DAMMMM MANY MALAYS ALL LINING UP, so does others.

So since I have to wait, I told him I’ll come back,
I said “Bang nanti saya balik okay?”
Yes in MALAY I spoke..

Guess what when he replied me when I ask the price in malay?
“Bang Berapa?”
“SAN KUAI!!!” 3 dollar.

=O IN MY LIFE, I really seldom hear a Malay dude who speak chinese, and THAT could be the FIRST SINGAPOREAN MALAY who speak chinese. I mean is been a long time since I last hear a malay speaking chinese to me having the chinese slang too.

I was like “err Tiga arr?”
Hehehehehe Singaporeans, come to Malaysia your burger special won’t reach the figure THREE laa, for burger with egg, most also reach until RM2.80 xD

See as I mention, services in Singapore… untung man.

Sadly I don’t know why if Burger Ramlee so happening in there, why they can’t sell everyday like how we Malaysians do?
Can’t get permit? Or will lose to McD?

Or maybe is happening because it ONLY has it when there is a pasar malam.

AND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Their Pasar Malam though is like our malaysia’s Pasar Tani that small.
Tell you something very cool..
Remember Bugis Street got shelter?
GUESS WHAT?
They also got, nothing special liao…

Malaysia’s Pasar malam is on the tar road,
Singapore?
ON A OPEN FIELD, with WOODEN BOARD NAILED ON THE GROUND!!
So definitely is brighter than Malaysia man, is like a warehouse sale in Malaysia. HAHAHAHA

So as I said again, Singaporean.. the goverment really know how to take care you all.

Oh come to think of it I also later on realize that my friend’s place has a WET MARKET, I don’t know why somehow is more CLEANER than Malaysia’s one.

After that I head to Tampines Mall, waa from outside MRT rail you see like so big and happening, go in there I see many people.. walk walk walk WOOO got arcade.

I bought a Doraemon which is worth 7 SGD, initially I thought it wasn’t discounted as it cost 14 SGD for that cute furry doraemon.
I don’t feel like buying at first, cause I was thinking maybe Malaysian has it too. Then I think twice.. come to Singapore.. other than shopping, nothing else what right? Furthermore people come here is for the VARIETY of items sold in the mall. So okaylaa BUY IT ONLY laa.
Buy that time, DISCOUNT! ALRITE So I bought it for about RM15 NICE.

The Last place I go was to Pasir Ris and it was about to reach 10pm,
why did I go there?
Wanna go e hub! to get a giangantic box, well I thought to buy it when we were leaving Pasir Ris but sadly we were on the rush.

END UP FIND OUT THAT FREAKING BOX SOLD BUY FAIR PRICE, the last time was sold outisde fair price, so I thought was some other who in charge of selling it.
EARLIER KNOW GO THE NEAREST FAIR PRICE.
Almost close ler the shop, then quickly rush back to Clementi.

From 2pm-11pm..
I can shop in three places, cool ler.
Can’t do that in Malaysia ler xD.

Day 8
Alrite, woke up 8am, why?
To accompany my friend to Temasek Poly, I wanted to see his USUAL LIFESTYLE of traveling to school as well as seeing his FAMOUS POLY.

Wooooo really never regret man,
Is a total different scene as in Malaysia.

He has to take TWO BUSES to go to his Poly, not so bad.
And it cost him 3 SGD to get there, I forgot.. is through and flow or not but I think is one way. About 3 SGD but can’t reach the figure 3 la.
It took us about 30 mins or one hour, I forgot.
but I think is 30 mins ba..
Waa imagine everyday like that..
Just to travel from west to east.
Unlike here, most of us Malaysian have car, no need mat7 bus interchange.

As I reach his poly I came down too, look around…
WHAT A PEACEFUL ATMOSPHERE. What time is it? About 9am+
9am at SS15 not as peaceful as this already ler, got cars around liao..
and his poly, is like.. some deserted instituted IN MALAYSIA.
Around his poly all HOUSING AREA.

What we have in SS15?
ASIA CAFE! A FEW CYBER CAFES! WOOHOO!

What we have in Sunway? Sunway Pryamid.

Where can as peaceful as there?

So I went to the nearest food court near his place.
Nice porrdige. I like =D
Come to think of it, I ate something that I never eat in Malaysia before, on the time when the Malaysians are leaving.
Satay BEE HON, is there any in Malaysia? Well Satay bee hon has CUTTLE FISH MMMM, kangkong.. okay.. and SIHAM aka cockles.

After that I took the bus to the nearest MRT which is Tampines station, waa there got bus interchange, on that day only find out.
So since is my last day in Singapore, lets sit the MRT from East all the way to west! but before that.. I took the interchange at Outram Park North East Line(the purple colour one)
All the way to Punggol, and then all the way back to Outram and to Boon Lay.

When I’m in the North East Line, all the way to Punggol…
ALL UNDERGROUND SEE WHAT??!?!?!?
But then I find out one thing, FREAKING FAST stations after stations.

So as I’m heading to the west, WOOOOO CHINESE GARDEN..
AWESOME, is like our Lakeview near holiday villa BUT they have NICE BIG OPEN FIELD PARK and willow trees? Or whatever trees that makes it look like CHINESE GARDEN.
Singapore really don’t sin ka people wan.. cool.
Can jogging there ler, I want to.

Then at Boon Lay..
I thought it was some Ulu area, where there will be army camp, cause Sab told me his bf camp is there.
Yes indeed I saw some army vehicle, but what I saw is was all the containers! Where the export and the import are there.. Ohh on the way I think at Jurong East, there is a mall..
But is not as cool as the East side.

So In conclusion, seems like the east has more cool and happening things compare to the west.
It really looks like it along the MRT trail.. even the airport is at the east. Everything at the east.

So from 10am+ on the train, about 1pm down the train at Clementi.
OVERSTAYED!

Wth, can’t get pass.
So I ask the counter for help..
I don’t know did it charge extra or not, but I remembered I pay 2 SGD. Maybe that as fine I don’t know, must find out
As far as I can find out is this

The time penalty is $2.00.

Time limit are as follows:

Enter and exit from the same station: 20 mins
Exit 1 to 4 stations away: 40 mins
Exit 5 to 9 Stations away: 60 mins
Exit 10 to 15 stations away: 75 mins
Exit 16 to 24 stations away: 100 mins
Exit over 24 stations away: 120 mins

Does LRT or KTM in Malaysia GOT SUCH THING ARR? :P

Why they don’t let us stay in MRT for so long??
Scared we terrorist ar? LOL can’t stop laughing at the Advertisement about TERRORISM BOMBING THE TRAIN.

Yup, Terrorist Attack ARE REAL. Singaporeans see the ad until sien liao. We noob hai Malaysian find it AMUSING xD

After that, go back.. lepak at his house, pack my bag.
ATE KFC FOR MY FIRST TIME IN SG.

Interesting…
Khamsi aka Gun told me..
KFC in Singapore, NOT SPICY one, somore the chilli sauce SWEET SWEET one.
AHAHAHAHAHA I CAN’T STOP LAUGHING when I ate the Spicy & Crispy Chicken.
LAUGH LIKE SHIT I TELL YOU,
Malaysia’s one, when you eat you still can see RED RED COLOUR inside can see some chili powder.
Over there? NOT SPICY AT ALL LAA!!

Soon, we head to Big O, the LANSHOP aka Cyber Cafe they use to go for WOE.
As usual, LAN SHOPS are in Singapore always dark dark one.
There many people play Live 4 Dead, scary game xD, but chi kek also.

After Lan Shop, I was force to take cab again to the Golden Mile Village near Lavender. Sad.
Because Ecou didn’t guide me how to get there using Bus.

It was about 10SGD.
Rm24 GONE LER. SOB SOB

So I bid some SG-ians through SMS with my SG number, and sobsob..
Off I go in the bus.

Funny thing is when I was in the custom,
The SCAN LUGGAGE dude is not there, so I went pass without scanning my luggage. O_o
Hehe.. and going back Malaysia showing my Malaysian passport, no need fill in the form. Slumber~~~

Is like, just walk pass only.

That’s the end of my Singapore trip.
I did have fun, did learn a lot about Singapore…
but just disappointed because… my FIRST purpose to go there couldn’t be fulfilled.
