This past 2 months, I’ve been watching a lot of DRAGON BALL,
from Z to GT but not the FIRST SERIES where Goku was a kid, INDEED including the “Epic Fail” Hollywood movie Dragonball Revolution I also watched =D
I would like to blog about my SUSPENSES of my life, cause I’m in a SHITTY SITUATION actually =) Will explain in the next entry, but as for this one I’ll talk about dragonball.
This contains spoilers, but who the heck cares about Dragonball spoilers where the series is ALL OUT long time ago?
The movie was Okay, I would say you would give 7/10 if you DON’T EVEN KNOW anything related to DragonBall by Akira Toriyama.
Hollywood did quite a good job in the storyline wise and acting wise.
But what turn me off is,
-First, GOKU DOESN’T COURT CHICHI, Chichi digs him.
-Second, The Ki was disappointing as compared to those missiles in Transformers directed by Steven Spielberg. The Ki shown is not like a fireball where is just some wave form like ki. That is Ki indeed, but we expect way cooler Ki.
-Third, Yes they should do a kid Goku instead of a teenage Goku,
because it would be interesting to see a naive kid acting as Goku and so does ChiChi.
-Fourth, Piccolo doesn’t injected himself to get his blood out to create mobs, he VOMITED OUT an egg or the creature will appear.
-Fifth, Where the heck is the Tenkaichi Martial Arts event?? Where Goku suppose to fight there.
-Sixth, Oozaru(Great Ape) was VERY SMALL as compared to the REAL ONE in the anime. They could made Optimus Prime so gigantic why not Oozaru? =(
-Seventh, same goes for the Shen Long… WHY MUST THEY CHANGE IT MORE LIKE A ENGLISH DRAGON??? AND FREAKING SMALL? WHAT IS THIS
and Pls, shen long has VOICE ACTOR, why don’t they have one? This shen long can’t talk. Not cool!
-Eight, indeed is stated somewhere in whichever news that ANIMAL CHARACTERS they doesn’t have it, like the Oolong and so on.
-Ninth, Kamehameha when it was demonstrate it was REAL COOL, but in there they show it like it was some Taichi movement, except for the final blast to Piccolo.
-Tenth, what the heck does Piccolo has a female assistant without a name? We know that King Piccolo(the evil one) has an assistant name http://dragonball.wikia.com/wiki/Piano and it wasn’t a female and has a name? This one show cleavage and no name like really WTH right?
That’s all I can think of, but whatever it is..
I still do enjoy the movie, cause there are some funny scene, and I like the Hollywood style of KAMAHAMEHA =D
Japanese one, is an old lady who did that voice act.

Lets go to errm DragonBall Z and GT.
What I would like to say is, I’ve seen some episodes for Dragonball Z when he fought Frieza and Cell when I was a kid, and even know the stories through reading comics when Goku was fighthing Kid Buu and kill it off with a Genki Dama aka Spirit Bomb.
Played Bodukai game in Ps2.
So as I watched it, SERIOUSLY IT WAS SO BORING SOME SAGAs..
Ohh my how they drag the fight I was like ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
I love the scene where Goku first turn Super Saiyan.
There is music too if not mistaken. Very nicely done by Akira Toriyama.
How Piccolo was actually USEFUL during Dragonball Z like he fuses with 2 Namekian but still reminds a kelefe who doesn’t show any cool moves. Like turning into a Super Namekian hahaaha like how Saiyan turns into Super Saiyan.
I just don’t get it HOW THIS VEGETA the evil bastard got so lucky and end up being a good guy in the end. His sin were go unpunished.
He killed NAPPA, He killed the NAMAKIEN.. so sad that Akira Toriyama just don’t bother about that.
Facts of Bulma 101, she digs bad guys.
Yum Cha was her love where he’s a freking bandit,
Vegeta was her husband where he’s a freaking BADASS SAIYAN.

That’s why I NEVER LIKE VEGETA although he indeed somehow look more COOL than Kakarot aka Goku where his hair is like SPIKING UP and have the Charming Arrogant Face =D
“I’m a Prince of Saiyan” as he always brags about it.
But well Akira Toriyama wants to create a cooler character name Trunks, that’s why he chose Vegeta goes alive and **** Bulma and gave birth to Trunks.
And SERIOUSLY!!
Akira Toriyama is really BIAS to Saiyans,
I honestly think that THIS DRAGONBALL from Z onwards, they can change the title to Story of the Saiyans.
-First fact about Saiyan, They turn into a Oozaru when they see the Full Moon, dunno what shit wave transmitted to them and KEBABOOM I’m a gorilla! Just like Werewolf we call it Weremonkey.
-Second fact about Saiyan, they gets stronger after each fight or each near death experience. Like wth?? they seems like they can’t die.
-Third fact about Saiyan, they can turn into Super Saiyan.
You and I love it, why can’t Human transform into Super Human or something? This is no fair, why is it all about SAIYAN SAIYAN SAIYAN.
That is why Bleach is interesting because is not always about ICHIGO.
They show other captains ability!
End up being like Namekian is like NOTHING but a green feeders that feeds to Freiza, and to those earthlings just to use the dragonballs.
ChiChi has turned into a supportive mother towards them fighthing to defend earth as each episode goes along.
But she’s always like GOHAN CHAN GOHAN CHAN..
Irritating you know!
Everything also Gohan gohan.. kinda reminds me of how a Mum would show LOADS OF CONCERN FOR A FIRST CHILD.

I’ve check the web, it seems that Trunks was one of the FAVORITE CHARACTER. So they have like Future Trunks, Kid Trunks in Z and Adult Trunks in DragonBall GT.
But sad to say, I think Trunks is NOT COOL as compared to his father.
He doesn’t has a BIG BANG ATTACK and other cool blast like his father does. Holding a sword may look real cool, but sadly in Dragonball what we wanna see is a Ki blast not weapons like swords and guns.
Freiza’s saga was the MOST draggy compared to the rest.
Vegeta’s saga was a bit sad because it’s like so little character only appear as they all DIED, and the skills they used to fight each other are VERY LITTLE. Sadly there is no Oozaru vs Oozaru fight.
Goku actually lost, and they won’t surprisingly with Gohan’s help.
Cell saga was quite interesting, <3 those Androids, sad to know that Android 16 was dead and never come back as he was the COOLEST, and as for Android 17 they kept it for GT series and became a kelefe after the whole Z series.
Majin Buu to Kid buu series was COOL. <3 We have Super Saiyan 3 Goku which looks cooler if he would have eyebrows. And endless fights and fusions to take down the Skinny Buu or Kid Buu.
Babidi saga was on the way to Majin Buu saga, but how he and his noob Dabura died? Got killed by Majin Buu itself is like pointless.
Filler episodes?
Garlic Jr. One only not so bad.
Not like now the anime so many fillers. Even with great technologies around also can complete everything faster still got fillers.
Initially I hated Mr Satan’s appearance,
but towards the end, I see that Mr Satan should exist so that the identity of those Saiyan’s will be covered up. =)
Yes it is spell that way, very demonic right?
But in japanese they pronounce it as SAR TAN instead of SayTern
So that is why the english dub company FUnimation changed it to Hercule.
I would admit that the Majin Buu the fat one is really cute =)
Sadly in GT he’s gone just like that by merging with the reborn Kid Buu name Uub. Buu and Uub see it? hahaaa

Dragonball GT is basically showing GOKU’s power.
Well I believe what was on Akira Toriyama’s mind was..
Okay this is the end, I start with Goku I end with Goku, the rest get lost.
I’ve decided to put Trunks also since he’s the favorite.
I’ve also decided to put Pun inside as shown in Z she was born after Gohan get married and it was towards the last episode, so the NEW GENERATION MUST PLAY A ROLE.
Like I said, “Since I started with Goku I end with Goku”
So Goku become a KID.
Turn off.. =(
I love Goku in an adult form ever since I was young. Because he look way cooler without it’s tail and his ORANGE SUIT =D
He became a kid due to an accidental wish made by Emperor Pilaf.
What was leftover in DragonBall Z is brought to GT, like Pan..
and errm Android 17, another Android 17 was build in hell with Dr. Mu and Dr. Gero then combine with the Android 17 in the real world, fusion already get killed by Goku and no sign of Android 17 in heaven or hell. A bit sad. But who gives a shit right Akira Toriyama doesn’t bothers about his Android. So sad, but Android 18 was happily married to Kuririn having a daughter name Maron.
And as the Elder Kai said “Don’t overused the dragonball it will have side effect” something like that =D
So in GT, the last saga was the dragonball all turns into evil dragons due to overused of dragonballs. Hahaha.. what a nice way to do an ending.
I just don’t get the ending where how the heck Goku just come back like that and never say a word? So does Goku go flying with the Shen Long and disappear?
Is like what type of ending is that? Zzzz
Pan can’t do Super Saiyan, according to resources from web, it says that Akira has no idea how a Female super saiyan looks like so thus..
No super saiyan for Pan. Like WTH.
The funniest part is it seems that Pan didn’t contact with the Vegeta’s side of the family after The Evil Dragons are gone.
So stupid like how the heck when go Tenkaichi Tournament only will start chatting with the Vegeta’s side family.
And guess what? I notice that you know Bulma’s parents are GONE in Dragonball GT. Where I think they are actually Deceased.
oh P/S In GT there are a lot of KAMEHAMEHA as compared to Z,
the ending was cool where Goku end it with a GENKI DAMA omigosh it was like he was down, then he SUDDENLY FLOATS UP with his big gaint ball, and Vegeta said to Omega Shenron, YOUR FINISH!!! GG.com
Then the spirit energy from the WHOLE UNIVERSE CAME TO HIS BALL.
What an ending! <3 Whole universe instead of earth alone itself!
Lastly if you ever wonder whether Vegeta has a Super Saiyan 3?
I tell you. NO!
He may have his Super Saiyan 4, but I tell you..
that one was like playing whosyourdaddy in Warcraft 3.
With Bulma’s help using the wave amplifier transmitting the wave to Vegeta only he can turned into an Oozaru and from there he turned to a Super Saiyan 4 TOWARDS THE END OF THE SERIES.
So if you ask people whether vegeta got super saiyan 3 and the answer they give is HE GOT SUPER SAIYAN FOR ALREADY?
Tell them this..
NAH! There is no such thing as a Vegeta Super Saiyan 3.
Guess what? Vegeta sorta like gave up on being on par with Goku ever since the end of the Dragonball Z series.
“Kakarot, you are the No.1″ He mentioned when he was helping/watching Goku to fight Buu.
From there onwards, you don’t see him talk like he’s some jackass who go’s after Kakarot all the time.
He was a loving father who actually feels hurt when his daughter commented on his mustache.
Conclusion, DragonBall deserve all the $ from us.
Indeed Akira Toriyama made it real great.
P/S I havent watched any DragonBall Anime movies YET.
Except for maybe some which those I watched it when I was young.
But I do remember watching Metal Cooler when I was in Secondary school or something.
Well I bought the whole set of Dragonball Z and GT, if you wanna borrow I wouldn’t mind =D
But I tell you, for the Z the subtitle a bit the sot so please bear with it. I don’t know why, probably I get from those chapalang distributor.
As for GT is okay, but there is slight problem for one episode for the subs, it doesn’t sync with the show.
I would seriously rate Dragonball as 10/10.
Man I could imagine if those times when it was out and I’m a teen who watch it like how I catch up on Naruto now. LOL.
But well, I guess nowadays they start to improvise from all these legendary manga/anime.
So that’s how it is…
Don’t ever compare Naruto or Bleach with Dragonball okay.
Dragonball is LEGEND.
